Death by Comparison
“Comparison is the death of all joy, and the only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday.” -Rachel Hollis
It’s important to be aware of your surroundings and your competitors, but if you start comparing yourself to the big dogs, you’ll get discouraged. It’s hard to know what they’ve been through and how long they’ve struggled to reach the level of success they’re at. An “overnight success” probably has years of struggle and hard work to get where they are. Instead of comparing yourself and your business to others, look at where you were yesterday, and work to achieve small victories and improve!
